US Safety & Compliance – Information for Our American Customers
At brass-light-fixtures.com / techtube.eu, we take pride in our Mediterranean heritage and the artisanal craftsmanship of our solid brass lighting fixtures. To ensure a smooth experience for our US-based clients, please review the following technical and safety information:
- Electrical Standards & Compatibility
Our fixtures are handcrafted in Europe and adhere to CE (European) safety standards.
Voltage: Our fixtures are fully compatible with the US electrical grid (110V-120V).
Sockets: Units are currently equipped with high-quality Ceramic E27 sockets. While standard US E26 bulbs typically fit E27 sockets, we recommend using bulbs labeled for “universal use” or consulting your electrician for the best fit.
Certifications: Please note that our products are not UL-Listed at this time. They are artisan-made, boutique lighting pieces, not mass-produced industrial goods.
- Professional Installation Required
For your safety and to ensure compliance with local building codes, we strictly require that all fixtures be installed by a licensed professional electrician.
The installer is responsible for ensuring the fixture is grounded correctly and mounted according to local US regulations.
brass-light-fixtures.com / techtube.eu cannot be held liable for any damages, malfunctions, or safety incidents resulting from improper installation or the use of incompatible bulbs.
- Assumption of Risk
By purchasing our fixtures for use in the United States, the buyer acknowledges that:
The product was manufactured to European specifications.
Local electrical inspectors or insurance providers may have specific requirements regarding non-UL listed products. The responsibility to verify these requirements lies solely with the buyer.
- Transparent DDP Shipping
To make your purchase effortless, all US orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).
We handle all import paperwork.
All customs duties and taxes are included in the price at checkout.
No additional invoices will be sent to you by customs or the courier.
